As the HR Coordinator at the Embassy Suites SF Airport - Waterfront, you are expected to manage the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. Some responsibilities of the HR Coordinator are as follows :
- Listen and respond to any incoming inquiries / calls. Assist team members, managers, or candidates and provide accurate information in a timely manner.
- Monitor and follow up on team members' time records and break period reporting.
- Process payroll for the hotel and communicate with the centralized payroll representative.
- Provide administrative support such as filing paperwork, making new hire packets, and maintaining team member files.
- Create and distribute memos, flyers, newsletters, monthly calendars, presentations, etc., as assigned.
- Organize, plan, execute, and / or assist in various team member and community service events.
- Track completion of required trainings.
- Communicate any challenges to the Human Resources Manager / Director.
- Facilitate new hire orientation and other training sessions.
- Actively engage team members to maintain a positive work environment.
- Attend job fairs, assist in the recruiting process, and schedule interviews for the hiring managers.
