Washington Hilton is looking to welcome an Assistant Director of Housekeeping to join the team!
The Washington Hilton, which has 1,107 rooms is located less than 2 miles away from The White House and National Mall. Our 100 team members report to our Director of Housekeeping.
The ideal candidate holds 2 years of recent experience in a Housekeeping Management role within hospitality. Knowlege of OnQ and experience in Rooms is ideal. Proven ability to lead a team. Experience in larger hotels preferred. Must be able to work the varying shifts.
Shift Pattern: Full Availability (weekday, weekend, and holidays) AM/MID/PM shifts
Salary Range: $85,000-$87,550

What will I be doing?
As an Assistant Director of Housekeeping Services, you would assist in the direction of and act in the absence of the Director of Housekeeping/Executive Housekeeper in overseeing the housekeeping department in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for:
- Oversees/ensures overall cleanliness and product quality of the hotel in accordance with hotel, corporate and Department of Health standards
- Plans, distributes, delegates and directs daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual work assignments
- Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff
- Assists in the management of all financial aspects of the operation including forecasting, budgeting, purchasing and inventory control
