Receiving Coordinator - Hilton Salt Lake City Center

The beautiful Hilton Salt Lake City Center, the only Hilton Managed hotel in Utah, is looking for a Receiving Coordinator to join their amazing team! This is a great entry level opportunity to get your foot in the door with #1BestCompany and grow your hotel career. We are looking for someone with 1 year customer service experience, self-motivated, extremely organized, great communication, and a problem solver! 

What Will I Be Doing? 

The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are to hotel specifications in accordance with purchase orders. The Receiving Coordinator is also responsible for the proper storing, handling and issuing of stock.

• Enters all non-edible merchandise into the computer, noting the received status shortages and all
  other required information so all merchandise is accounted for. Prepares all outgoing records.
• Notifies person responsible for ordering merchandise when shipment arrives or if the shipment
  fails to arrive so that any discrepancies can be resolved. Signs, dates and time stamps all
  invoices on the respective receiving sheet, ensuring times are correctly identified.
• Checks each item on the invoice against the applicable hotel document, weighing, counting,
  verifying prices on each item and checking these against specifications to verify accuracy of
  delivery.
• Fills requisitions to authorize outlets so all stock will be complete at each outlet and advises
  supervisor of items that are low or out-of-stock so that they can be reordered.
• Assists Finance Team frequently with basic accounting/financial responsibilities and reports
• Assists in conducting month-end inventories.
• Cross-trained on Storeroom Attendant role to assist on a weekly basis as needed.
