Litigation Associate Position
">We are seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join our Product Liability & Toxic Tort team. The successful candidate will have two (2) to five (5) years of experience in complex toxic tort, including asbestos, and/or products liability cases.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Take and defend depositions on a regular basis;
- Research various issues and collaborate with senior attorneys in developing proactive defense strategies;
- Navigate claims through resolution by dismissal, settlement, motion practice, or trial;
- Draft discovery demands and responses, motions, case evaluation summaries, settlement agreements, pleadings, and legal memoranda;
- Represent clients at courtroom appearances.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience taking a case file from inception through resolution, strong verbal and written communication skills, and good academic credentials. Admission to bar in both Missouri and Illinois is required.
