What are the responsibilities and job description for the Petroleum Service Technician position at Hinderliter Construction, Inc.?
Hinderliter Construction is looking for qualified petroleum service technicians in the southern Indiana area.
We have been providing our customers with excellent service for over 30 years. We make sure that our technicians have the best training and tools available to give our customers the high standard of service that sets us apart. We are an authorized service provider for Gilbarco, VeriFone, and Dover/Wayne. Petroleum Service Technicians are responsible for diagnosing and repairing any device pertaining to the sale and delivery of fuel at retail or commercial fueling locations. Candidates must possess strong troubleshooting/critical thinking skills. This is a full-time position 7am-5pm Monday through Friday. Must be willing to be on-call and work overtime as needed. In addition, candidates must:
- Work in a safe manner, adhering to strict safety guidelines
- Be able to perform physical labor daily
- Work professionally, treating our customers with respect and courtesy
- Properly diagnose, repair, and maintain retail, commercial, and private fueling equipment
- Have basic computer, IP addressing, and networking skills
- Understand electrical circuits (A/C & D/C)
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Have a high school diploma or GED
Certifications with Gilbarco/Veeder-Root, Verifone, or Dresser/Wayne are a plus, but not required.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
