What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Circuitry Engineer position at Hinduja Tech Limited?
Responsibilities:
- Work in the circuitry team to achieve all project deliverables.
- Design and develop wire harnesses (engine, engine room main, instrument panel, floor, door, roof) for North American vehicle programs.
- Create a sub-system wiring diagram, fuse load list, grounding system layout, and wire harness drawings based on system component specifications.
- Interface with system component engineers such as bus systems (OBII, CAN, etc.), headlamps, airbag ECU, audio, engine fuel ignition ECU, etc.
- Formulate drawings on the CAD system (wire harness Cabling Design).
- Support and troubleshoot wiring harness-related issues during the prototype build stage.
- Participate in teams to resolve development and current production problems. Be able to work with suppliers and related groups to identify root causes of problems, and present findings to the circuit leader.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with 2D electrical CAD software such as Zuken Cabling Designer, Capital, Mentor Graphics, etc.
- 5 years of experience as an electrical design engineer.
- Experience in wire harness development
