Hino assembles medium-duty trucks at its Mineral Wells, West Virginia plant. Its manufacturing facilities in Marion, Arkansas produces axles, knuckles and suspension components for Toyota’s Tacoma, Tundra and Sequoia. Hino’s Parts Distribution Center in Mira Loma, California supplies Latin American and Caribbean distributors with genuine Hino service parts.
We are currently seeking an IT Sr. Applications Specialist for Novi corporate office located in Novi, MI reporting directly to IT Applications Manager. This individual will be responsible for developing and supporting applications in various Microsoft based products.
Responsibilities
- Develop new Applications and workflows as per business requirements in D365.
- Maintain business applications developed in D365.
- D365 user Administration.
- Develop and maintain Logic Apps programs in Azure.
- Maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite of applications (Supply Chain and Financials modules).
- Troubleshoot any application problem or perform investigations per user requests.
- Work closely with related department and manufacturing plants to ensure D365 modules are meeting their expectations.
- Lead Kaizen/Improvement activities as well as cost reduction activities.
- Regular report out progress to management.
- Work with third party vendors to improve application performance by tuning the applications as per directions provided.
Experience Level
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Automotive industry.
- Minimum 5 years of application support experience in D365 F&O and Supply Chain Modules.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Logic Apps development in Azure
Educational Requirement
Bachelor’s degree required (Computer Science or Computer Engineering)
Required Skills
- Advanced expertise in the following technology including:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite of applications (Supply chain and Finance Modules)
- Manufacturing business processes.
- Understanding of the following technology:
- EDI
- API’s written in .NET and C#
- Expertise in using Excel, Power Point, Word, Access Database.
- Ability to manage applications through their life cycle from application development to application decommission.
- Proven skills to be a Self-starter with strong self-management skills.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Skills to direct infrastructure teams on management of server reboots and other server related tasks.
- Ability to create project plans for application changes including communication plants and test plans.
- Skills in creating incident reports to determine root cause for application downtimes.
