Job Description: Bilingual Human Resources Manager

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual HR Manager to oversee the human resources functions for our manufacturing company. This role is essential in supporting our workforce and ensuring effective communication and compliance across English and Spanish-speaking employees. Provide leadership and support in functional areas of human resources including recruitment, employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, benefits administration, employee development, training, benefits and leaves, HR related committees (safety, employee recognition, etc.) and special projects. Enforces company policies and practices. Serves as a strategic and tactical business partner to the Plant leadership team. Assist in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee booklets, communications, and/or meetings. Prepare reports in conformance with legislated requirements or company needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
· Provide human resource generalist services, including compliance with regulatory agencies (OSHA reporting, DOL, EEOC).
· Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
· Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include job descriptions, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, all positions, factory non-exempt, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
· Manages Employee Temporary Services.
· Conduct Onboarding process and employee orientation.
· Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
· Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
· Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
· Provide direction to employees in the resolution of problems, related to benefits, company policies, etc.
· Lead safety and employee recognition committees, among others.
· Assists in quarterly and yearly employee performance reviews and employment related policies and procedures.
· Responsible for HRIS administration and maintenance.
· Support the administration of Worker’s Compensation and coordination of workplace safety programs.
· Conduct training sessions related to ethics, benefits, safety, or others as required.
· Contribute to the maintenance of the Quality Management System through the correct execution of its functions and/or activities.
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
· Consistently follows and adheres to all safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP's).
· Other duties as assigned
Competences, Skills, and Abilities:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration specialized in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or related field, required.
· Master’s degree in business administration, plus.
· SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP or other professional certification preferred.
· 3 years in human resources experience required.
· Bilingual | English and Spanish (fluent in both spoken and written forms).
· Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
· 3 years in Manufacturing industry or related field (preferred).
· Medium to Expert skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.), required
· Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and multitasking.
· Strong leadership and team management
· Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
· Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to forecast and plan effectively.
· Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.

Work Environment:
· This position works in an office environment with frequent time to go into a non-air-conditioned/heated warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and some exposure to dust, noise, fumes, and gases.
