Part Time Event Staff

Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Event Staff to join our team. As an integral part of our events, you will play a key role in ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for supporting event operations, managing guest interactions, and contributing to the overall success of our events.

Duties

• Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging furniture and equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
• Support food service operations, including serving food and beverages, managing buffet lines, and ensuring cleanliness.
• Monitor event activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and guest satisfaction.
• TIPS certified a plus
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth event execution and resolve any conflicts that may arise during the event.
• Engage with guests through public speaking when necessary, providing information about the event schedule or activities.

Skills

• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent conflict management skills to address issues promptly and professionally.
• Experience in customer service or hospitality roles, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Familiarity with food service operations is a plus for roles involving catering or dining services.
• Heavy Lifting and carrying of supplies required.
• Honesty and integrity a must.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 30 per week
