You are an experienced paralegal in a corporate Legal Department. You are highly organized and efficient, pay attention to detail, and can manage multiple responsibilities with minimal oversight. You have experience with managing the corporate secretarial function on behalf of a group of companies.

About You:
You are an experienced paralegal in a corporate Legal Department. You are highly organized and efficient, pay attention to detail, and can manage multiple responsibilities with minimal oversight. You have experience with managing the corporate secretarial function on behalf of a group of companies.
What You'll Do:
- Manage corporate quarter close process including proactively gathering information and/or coordinating meetings between multiple departments, maintaining quarter-end checklist, and performing other duties in support of the General Counsel’s Legal Board and other reporting responsibilities
- Primary intake, logging, and distribution of non-claims related service of process for multiple entities
- Coordinate Secretary of State authority filings for multiple entities with a third-party vendor
- Manage Corporate Secretarial function for subsidiary entities including scheduling Board of Director meetings, creating agendas and Board summaries, drafting meeting minutes, and maintaining all records relating to Board of Directors and Shareholder, Articles of Incorporation, and Bylaws for multiple entities
- Manage Board of Directors’ online board portal, including proofreading, uploading and archiving meeting materials and communicating with the Board concerning the board portal
- Support administrative functions of the legal department including reviewing and distributing incoming mail and other duties as may be assigned
- 5 years experience as a paralegal, prefer experience in the insurance industry
- Demonstrated professionalism, detail-oriented, strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining multiple projects and responsibilities
- Ability to ask for assistance when needed
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel
