What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispensary Assistant General Manager position at Hippos Marijuana Dispensary Columbia?
Oversees daily operations of the dispensary handling the needs of all employees and customers.
Duties include:
- Developing a professional team that is passionate about customer service
- Responsibility for P & L of the overall dispensary
- Reports to the CEO
- Hire qualified personnel to manage the various functions required to run a successful dispensary
- Train staff on knowledge and compliance regarding the medical cannabis program and HIPPA compliance
- Operate as HR director until company is large enough to hire for this position
- Make recommendations on hiring, discipline, termination or advancement of employees
- Stay abreast of all rules and regulations and changes to the program through DHSS
- Submit an annual plan to senior management for filing with the DHSS
- Train employees for redundancy in each position
- Manage work flow with staff to handle peak work times
- Be competent in all job positions to fill in where necessary
- Responsibility for the financials of the dispensary
