What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Attorney Project Manager position at Hire Counsel?
Hire Counsel is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Project Manager to become a member of an AmLaw 100 law firm in Los Angeles.
Day to day duties :
Working closely with clients, firm attorneys, various firm employees, and vendors
Selecting and implementing strategy and designing discovery solutions for firm matter
Managing projects, tracking and reporting on costs and progress
Assisting case team with custodian interviews
Leading teams of firm and contract attorneys
Responding to work requests for a variety of issues and special project
Leading trial preparation and supporting the processes
Qualifications :
Must have a JD
Admitted to the California bar, active and in good standing
Flexibility to work long hours and travel on short notice
Ability to go into office in Los Angeles, as needed
Minimum of 5 years' experience with complex litigation in a law firm or equivalent with an emphasis on Project Management
Experience with all aspects of litigation project management, including litigation holds, early fact development and case assessment, collection, processing, culling strategies, document review, production, and privilege logging
Ability to prioritize and handle many urgent tasks and requests simultaneously with a high level of competence and accuracy
