Position Overview:

One of Hire Digitalents clients is seeking an experienced Techno-Functional JD Edwards Specialist to join our team as a Technical Lead / Solution Architect. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, particularly versions 9.1 or 9.2, and a strong background in solution architecture and technical leadership. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and functional knowledge to support and enhance our clients JD Edwards system, ensuring it meets business requirements and drives organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Solution Architecture:

    • Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solutions.
    • Develop and maintain architectural blueprints and technical designs for JD Edwards systems. This includes integrations with Microsoft products and SaaS products.
    • Ensure solutions align with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  2. Technical Leadership:

    • Lead and mentor a team of JD Edwards developers and technical staff.
    • Oversee the technical aspects of JD Edwards projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate JD Edwards solutions with other enterprise systems, particularly Microsoft products.
  3. Project Support:

    • Provide expert-level support for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, particularly versions 9.1 and 9.2.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the JD Edwards environment.
    • Manage and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
  4. Microsoft Integration:

    • Leverage experience with Microsoft products (e.g., Office 365, Azure, Power BI) to enhance JD Edwards functionality.
    • Develop and implement integration solutions between JD Edwards and Microsoft systems.
    • Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between JD Edwards and Microsoft applications.
  5. Business Process Optimization:

    • Analyze and optimize business processes to leverage JD Edwards functionalities.
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and user experience.
  6. Documentation and Compliance:

    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, processes, and configurations.
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies, standards, and external regulations.

Requirements:

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years in solution architecture, specifically within the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environment.
    • Extensive experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, ideally with projects on versions 9.1 or 9.2.
    • Proven track record of leading and managing technical teams.
    • Experience working with Microsoft products and integrating them with JD Edwards.
  • Technical Skills:

    • In-depth knowledge of JD Edwards development tools, CNC configuration, and system administration.
    • Strong understanding of JD Edwards modules and their integration points.
    • Proficient in database management, SQL, and related technologies.
    • Experience with Microsoft products such as Office 365, Azure, and Power BI, and their integration with JD Edwards.
