Job Details:
- SEC reporting such as preparing or assisting in preparation of 10Qs and 10Ks
- Working with external auditors
- Preparing monthly and quarterly financials at the consolidated level as well as on subsidiary level
- Ad hoc reporting and process improvements
- Work closely with the Controller and CAO on special projects
- Will not have a staff initially but will have 1 direct report in the next 6 months
- Strong excel experience, CPA a plus, and public accounting a plus
Background:
- Looking for someone with a few years in public accounting OR someone with SEC experience
- Accounting degree a must
- CPA or CPA candidate a plus
With company growth, they now need someone to handle the non-close related accounting work. They need someone that can step in and handle the reporting arena. There would be very little (if any) journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation.
