Position Electrophysiology Tech Location : Memphis, Tennessee Schedule : Day (4x10 Hours) 6 : 30 17 : 00 Unit : Radiology / Cardiology What You'll Do : The Electrophysiology Technician will assist cardiologists and electrophysiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias through the use of specialized medical equipment. This position requires a thorough understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and electrical conduction, along with a high level of technical expertise in the operation of EP lab equipment. Resp onsibilities : Assist in EP studies, pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, ablation procedures, and other cardiac interventions. Prepare and calibrate EP lab equipment, including catheter insertion systems, recording systems, and stimulators. Monitor and record cardiac electrical activity during procedures. Provide support during emergency procedures and respond quickly to changes in patient conditions. Ensure sterile techniques and procedures are followed in the lab. Educate patients and their families on procedures and post-procedural care. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient data in accordance with hospital policies.
