WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Client Liaison: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, delivering timely updates and addressing their questions with empathy and clarity.
- Litigation Workflow Management: Oversee the entire litigation lifecycle, meticulously scheduling and tracking key milestones such as discovery, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.
- Case Document Control: Implement and maintain a highly organized system for managing all case-related documentation, including medical records, court filings, and opposing counsel materials, within our case management platform.
- Discovery Process Administration: Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, ensuring precision and adherence to deadlines.
- Witness Logistics and Preparation: Coordinate witness availability, issue necessary subpoenas, and prepare witnesses effectively for depositions and trial testimony.
- Trial Support and Logistics: Provide comprehensive assistance during trial preparation, including the creation of trial exhibits, presentations, and trial notebooks, as well as offering in-court support through exhibit management and detailed note-taking.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- 3 years of experience in litigation (incl. personal injury)
- Organizational skills and meticulousness
- Proven ability to thrive independently and in a team while researching, managing litigation process, leveraging case management software, and meeting deadlines
- Track record for excellent verbal and written communication skills while demonstrating professionalism and commitment to clients and legal teams
Salary : $65,000 - $90,000
