Job Title: Azure Data Engineer
Location: Durham, NC (2 days onsite)
Must have experience with Azure Data bricks and understanding of MS Fabrics
You will manage multiple projects, collaborate with clients to understand their data requirements, and recommend tailored solutions using Microsoft Fabric technologies. You’ll lead the end-to-end development of data solutions with Azure services, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data integration pipelines. Your expertise will be crucial in developing ETL/ELT pipelines, utilizing Microsoft Fabric’s analytics tools to drive business intelligence, and ensuring compliance with data governance and security best practices. Additionally, you will create technical documentation and support client training on Azure and Fabric solutions.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Power BI, along with proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark. You should have a proven track record in data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and real-time data processing. Excellent communication and client engagement skills are essential.
Experience with DevOps, GIT, JIRA, and Confluence is a plus, as are relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect) or Databricks certifications.
