Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to support the company’s strategic objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial operations, agreements, and business controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with department heads, providing financial insights and forecasts to aid in decision-making.
- Ensure accurate processing and recording of the company's transactions to maintain precise financial records.
- Lead the accounting team, managing tasks like month-end closings and reconciliations to ensure timely execution.
- Initiate improvements in processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
- Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and assist in budget preparation and forecasting exercises.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and manage special projects as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Five to eight years of relevant experience in accounting, with a minimum of three years in a management role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; a CPA qualification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards such as GAAP and FASB.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiar with PeopleSoft or equivalent financial software.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial information.
- Capable of multitasking effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
