SaaS Sales Director – Safety, Security & Resilience
(Houston location preferred, Remote)
Hire Talent is partnering with our client, a mid-sized company expanding its presence in the U.S., to identify a dynamic Sales Director to lead market growth.
Our client provides a SaaS platform that enhances energy companies' risk management and operational security. With a small but growing U.S. team, this role will be instrumental in driving new business and expanding the customer pipeline.
Position Overview
As the Sales Director, you will build and execute a go-to-market strategy, acquire key accounts, and expand existing relationships in the energy/oil & gas sector. You will build a team and work closely with the existing team of two, driving sales growth and establishing market leadership. This position offers a commission-based structure with a performance bonus at year-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to establish our client’s security, safety and resilience SaaS solutions in the U.S. energy market.
- Build relationships with senior executives, identifying opportunities and positioning the platform as a key solution.
- Drive aggressive new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
- Analyze the competitive landscape and execute a direct sales plan for market penetration.
- Collaborate with partners and marketing teams to optimize sales efforts.
- Provide detailed sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and strategic insights.
- Travel as needed (30-50%).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 5 years security, safety and resilience SaaS sales experience, ideally in enterprise software and cloud solutions
- Track record selling into the energy/oil & gas sector (i.e. renewables, nuclear, power, etc.)
- 2 years leadership experience in a software sales environment with the ability to scale a small team
- Experience in complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
- Strategic thinker with excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills
- Ability to work independently in a high-growth environment
This role offers a commission-based structure with an additional performance-based bonus.
