Location : Fresno, CA
Compensation : $18 - $20 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
Are you an organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for patient care and coordination? We are seeking a New Patient Referral Coordinator to join our team in Fresno, CA. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless onboarding process for new patients and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
Handle incoming referrals from providers and ensure proper documentation.
Communicate with referring offices, insurance providers, and patients to verify eligibility and secure necessary authorizations.
Schedule new patient appointments, providing clear and empathetic communication about processes and required documentation.
Accurately input patient information into the system while maintaining strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Act as a liaison between patients, clinical staff, and providers to address any concerns or questions.
Monitor referral pipelines and follow up on outstanding authorizations or documentation as needed.
Assist with additional administrative tasks to support the office as necessary. Qualifications :
Experience : Prior experience in medical office administration, patient referrals, or a related field preferred.
Skills : Excellent communication, strong organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with medical software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Personality : A friendly, professional demeanor with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
