SQUAN is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecommunications Engineering Manager with a Professional Engineer (PE) license. This role requires strong leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership and Management :
Lead and mentor a team of telecommunications engineers and technicians.
Develop and implement engineering strategies, goals, and objectives.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Technical Oversight :
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of telecommunications systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on complex engineering issues.
Project Management :
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from initial concept through to completion.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and external vendors.
Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
Quality Assurance :
Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the reliability and performance of telecommunications systems.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential issues.
Develop and enforce engineering standards and procedures.
Customer Support :
Provide technical support and expertise to internal and external customers.
Address and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely manner.
Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications :
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, preferred
Minimum of 7 years of experience in telecommunications engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems, including VoIP, fiber optics, wireless, and satellite communications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD.
