- As a veterinary technician, you will be the doctor's "right arm" an extension of the doctor in all communications, treatments, patient and client care.
- You should be able to draw blood samples, set catheters - IV and urinary, take radiographs, monitor anesthesia, prep for surgery, perform dental prophies, TPR, get patient history, give vaccines and have knowledge of the most common diseases and preventive care products.
- You should be able to communicate your knowledge to the client. If necessary, answer phones and do the basic front office. You should also be able & willing to help promote the practice
- Graduate from a tech school
- Ideally 2-3 years of successful experienc
