We are seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and industry quality standards in the manufacturing of aerospace fasteners . This role involves visual and dimensional inspections, documentation, and collaboration with production teams to maintain product integrity.
Key Responsibilities :
Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished fasteners for defects, dimensional accuracy, and conformance to specifications.
Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and optical comparators.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications .
Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation , including non-conformance reports (NCRs) .
Identify and report non-conforming materials and processes .
Work closely with production teams to address quality issues and assist in corrective actions .
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations .
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent ; technical certification or associate's degree preferred.
Experience in quality control inspection , preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry .
Familiarity with industry fastener specifications and standards .
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments .
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects .
Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills .
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of aerospace industry standards (e.g., AS9100 ).
Familiarity with fastener design and material specifications .
Understanding of material testing methods .
Experience with CMM or other advanced inspection equipment .
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills .
Additional Information :
Due to the nature of regulated manufacturing projects , compliance with specific citizenship or work authorization requirements may be necessary.
