What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler - Shipping/Receiving position at HireCall?
Seeking action-oriented, reliable and hardworking Material Handlers with 2 years of manufacturing experience. This position is responsible for handling materials as it relates to the shipping and receiving of inventory and customer orders. Must be able and willing to work overtime.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Ability to stage, stack, assemble tight tolerance parts.
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts in a safe manner.
- Loading, unloading and receiving of both inbound / outbound shipments
- Read and adhere to standard and special packaging specifications.
- Safe and proper operation of manual, semi-automatic and automatic packaging equipment.
- Complete and inspect paperwork, tagging and final package for finished products.
- Perform weekly cycle counts
- Ability to follow safety and operations processes and procedures
- Work together with all members of a processing crew and company management.
