Position Type: Required:
Contract
Hybrid (2 Days Onsite, 3 Days Remote)
- 5 years of experience managing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure, with a strong focus on AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, SQS).
- Proven track record of diagnosing and resolving infrastructure issues by analyzing logs (e.g., AWS CloudWatch) and implementing effective solutions to ensure high system reliability.
- 3 years of experience executing code changes, refactoring non-performant code, and collaborating with developers to optimize application performance.
- 2 year in architecting and deploying applications based on major cloud provider infrastructure (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure).
- This should involve contributing to architectural decisions/modifications rather than merely maintaining applications hosted on one of the cloud providers.
- Hands-on experience tuning database queries, monitoring database health, and improving query execution efficiency for high-traffic systems.
- Demonstrated ability to implement and improve observability strategies, including monitoring, alerting, and logging to ensure system uptime and reliability.
- Top 3 Skills:
- Expertise in maintaining and optimizing cloud infrastructure, with a deep understanding of AWS services, system performance tuning, and cost optimization strategies.
- Strong debugging skills, including proficiency in analyzing logs, tracing system issues, and implementing fixes in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and coding abilities, with experience making minor application code changes and improving codebase efficiency to support scalable, reliable systems.
- Must Have:
- Experience and proficiency deploying and tuning a software execution environment to ensure reliable operations.
- Nice To Have:
- Experience as a typescript-based developer utilizing frameworks such as NestJS, React or Svelte
