V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Full Stack Software Engineer for our premier client in Greenville, South Carolina.
Education And Experience »
- BA/BS Degree in Business, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred or the equivalent of 4 years professional IT related experience. MS degree (preferred).
- 5 years of technical experience in Information Technology.
- 2 years of experience in web and DB development with demonstrated strengths in software and hardware design, development, Integration and testing.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities »
- 5 years of experience with Object oriented programming (Java, Objective C, or Javascript).
- 3 years of experience implementing software design patterns and best practices applicable to web development.
- 1 years of experience with MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle.
- 1 years of experience interfacing with REST Web Services and JSON/XML.
- 1 years of experience monitoring and supporting performance of web applications and infrastructure.
- Basic knowledge of Linux Server administration, Version Control Systems.
- 1 years of experience developing enterprise or client facing web applications.
- 1 years of experience deploying and supporting Web applications.
- 1 years of hands-on development experience with back-end programming languages (PHP, Python, Java, .NET, JavaScript, etc).
Top 3 Skills
- Ability to manage application performance using efficient code structure, database tuning and consideration of network latency.
- Ability to mentor/lead a team and manage project timelines and deliverables.
- Proficiency in designing, implementing, and deploying full-stack applications.
Must Have
- Strong verbal/written/interpersonal skills and the ability to translate technical constraints/requirements to non-technical stakeholders and vice-versa.
- Senior level of programming competency and extensive experience delivering full stack applications from initial development through production deployment & operations.
Nice To Have
- Competency deploying and maintaining applications on a major cloud provider.
- Experience working with a variety of common architectural patterns to inform technical tradeoffs.
- Microservice or distributed system development and troubleshooting experience.
