Key Responsibilities:
The PMS will be responsible for managing designated manufacturing equipment and technology in a high-volume environment.
- Ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale initiatives are coordinated related to designated equipment and/or technology.
- Maintain well-defined maintenance procedures and processes practiced by skilled trades.
- Coach and mentor team members on World Class Manufacturing techniques for problem-solving and corrective action implementation.
Main objectives include;
- Develop SMPs for time-based maintenance and mean time between failure of components and equipment.
- Collaborate with Skilled Trades staff to ensure designated equipment/technology is maintained at basic conditions.
- Ensure established SMPs enable achievement of KPIs.
- Address throughput, run-to-run, and downtime-related issues with equipment in production environments.
- Coordinate activities per World Class Manufacturing standards.
- Impact overall equipment effectiveness through systematic planning and execution of key maintenance enablers.
- Lead kaizen project activities centered on Safety, Cost, Quality, and Throughput improvements.
