The Role
As the Director of Facilities, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of multiple locations, ensuring the upkeep of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment.
You Will
- Conduct hands-on maintenance and coordinate building inspections, repairs, and upkeep, covering electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.
- Recruit, train, and manage a maintenance team to meet operational standards and respond to service requests efficiently.
- Oversee projects involving vendors and contractors, ensuring quality, safety, and budget compliance.
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and regulatory requirements, including OSHA and ADA standards.
- Manage departmental budgets, payroll, and expense tracking to align with operational goals.
- Implement maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and ensure consistent facility performance.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and department heads to prioritize maintenance needs.
You Have
- 5 years of facilities management, with hands-on experience in MEP, HVAC, carpentry or related fields
- 2 years of supervisory or project management experience
- Advanced understanding of general maintenance, HVAC, electrical systems, and preventative maintenance practices.
- CPR certification
