Our mission is to provide high-quality, free civil legal advice, representation, and education to disadvantaged individuals. With more than 30 employees, we address a broad range of civil legal issues that impact health, safety, and self-sufficiency.
We are dedicated to helping the most vulnerable members of our community find their voice, regain control of their lives, and build a brighter future. Through education, effective litigation, and collaboration, we work tirelessly to expand access to justice, identify community needs, and challenge systems, laws, and policies that adversely affect the underserved.
What You’ll Do:
- Help families navigate educational programs like IEPs and 504 plans.
- Advocate for children’s education rights and provide support to stabilize their education.
- Conduct outreach presentations and participate in community groups focused on children’s needs.
- Empower families by ensuring they have access to essential resources and guidance.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 years of public education experience (preferred).
- Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and Florida education laws.
- Experience with low-income or marginalized communities is a plus.
- Exceptional communication, public speaking, and organizational skills.
- Bonus: Bilingual abilities!
