Our client, a leading international carrier, is seeking an experienced Claims Attorney to join their Professional Liability claims division with a focus on EPL coverage. This role will be based in Westchester County and offer a hybrid schedule.
The Claims Attorney will be responsible for investigation, analysis of liability and damages exposure, drafting coverage position letters, and developing strategies for resolution. They will also oversee determination of probable loss exposures, establishment of reserves, and maintenance of claim files.
Ideal candidates will possess relevant legal skillsets and claims handling experience. Experience with Employment Practice Liability Insurance claims is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
