Our client is an A rated international carrier in search of a Claims Attorney to join their Professional Liability claims division with a focus on EPL coverage. This division is in a steady growth mode and in search of individuals seeking to advance their legal careers in the insurance industry. This role will be housed in Westchester County with a hybrid schedule.
The Claims Attorney responsibilities include investigation, analysis of liability and damages exposure, drafting and issuance of coverage position letters, and development of strategies for resolution. This individual will also oversee determination of probable loss exposures, establishment of reserves, as well as maintenance of claim files.
Ideal candidates will have relevant legal skillsets as well as claims handling experience. Exposure to Employment Practice Liability Insurance claims is preferred but not required.
