Campus Director - Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership across the organization to foster growth and innovation.
- Make strategic decisions related to company policy, operational plans, and long-term direction.
- Report directly to the CEO, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Oversee the implementation of operational policies and the execution of the strategic plan.
- Cultivate and develop the company’s culture, ensuring it aligns with the company’s vision and values.
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring of key staff members as necessary.
- Foster a high-performance work environment that promotes positive morale and employee engagement.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership, including the Vice President of Finance, Chief Information Officer, and other executives to drive organizational success.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and manage the filing of necessary documents.
- Work in partnership with the executive board to align efforts toward the company’s mission and both short-term and long-term goals.
- Proactively identify and address business challenges and opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with external organizations to further the company’s mission.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient management of the organization.
- Partner with the Human Resources team to ensure effective talent acquisition and workforce development.
- Monitor admissions and marketing practices to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide support to the academic team to ensure the success of educational programs and initiatives.
- Work with Financial Aid and Accounts Receivable departments to maintain strong financial health and cash flow.
- Collaborate with the Student Services team to ensure exceptional student support and satisfaction.
- Maintain a strong focus on compliance in all aspects of the organization’s operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably in an academic or campus-based environment.
- Strong knowledge of accreditation standards and labor laws.
- Demonstrated ability to build consensus and foster relationships with executives, partners, and staff.
- In-depth understanding of human resources and personnel management.
- Experience with corporate governance and strategic decision-making processes.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful outcomes.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex issues and make sound decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and foster trust.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and delegate tasks appropriately.
