Embedded S oftware Engineer – Zephyr RTOS Seeking a mid-level embedded software engineer with experience in Zephyr RTOS to join a small, thriving engineering team in the low-power, wireless IoT electronics space in Durham, NC.This is a direct-hire, salaried opportunity with benefits and bonus potential. Candidates must be local to or relocating to the Raleigh / Durham metro area in order to fulfill the hybrid schedule at the Durham office. No visa sponsorship or subcontracting arrangements are available. Responsibilities of the Embedded Software Engineer :
- Software development, hardware verification, and system testing.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for projects, including specifications, architecture, and test plans.
- Conduct code reviews, design assessments, and technical evaluations.
- Ensure deliverables are completed on time and in a manner that meets or exceeds internal and customer expectations.
- Provide regular project updates to relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in project, customer, and other meetings in a collaborative and professional manner.
- Mentor junior engineers to support their professional growth / development.
- Work with the management team to resolve problems and evolve processes and procedures.
