Human Resources Director Position Summary:
The Human Resources Director (HRD) is a key strategic partner to the Facility CEO and other leadership team members, playing a vital role in defining, developing, and implementing people services initiatives. The HRD oversees all areas of People Services, including employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation management, performance management, training and leadership development, policy creation, and procedural compliance. This position also involves managing a team of People Services professionals. Reporting directly to the hospital CEO, the HRD ensures the alignment of HR strategies with organizational goals to support a culture of excellence.
Human Resources Director Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- PHR/SPHR – Preferred
- Minimum of five years of progressive HR/People Services experience focusing on Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Training and Development, and Compensation Management, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Supervisory experience overseeing various HR/People Services roles.
- Union experience.
- Expertise in federal and state employment laws and regulatory compliance (e.g., CMS, OSHA, TJC).
- Direct comprehensive departmental services in compliance with all regulatory standards (e.g., Joint Commission, OSHA).
