The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for troubleshooting, working independently, and resolving technical challenges across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in machinery and equipment.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks using technical tools, blueprints, and manuals.
- Conduct inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of machinery to maintain peak efficiency.
- Test equipment for performance issues, utilizing expertise in motor controls, switch panels, and other electrical components.
- Fabricate and repair parts with precision using tools such as lathes, grinders, and drill presses.
- Accurately document maintenance activities, equipment conditions, and repair actions.
- Stay informed and trained on advancements in equipment and technology.
Required:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.
- Skilled in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
- Physically capable of lifting 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Basic computer skills for managing maintenance tracking software.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance.
- Experience working with metal forming, bending, cutting, or roll-forming machinery.
- Knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Proven success in projects like new equipment installations.
- Weekend Day Shift: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Friday to Sunday, includes a $3/hour shift premium).
- Weekend Night Shift: 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM (Friday to Sunday, includes a $4.50/hour shift premium).
- Initial training may take place during weekday hours.
- Regular standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting.
- Exposure to environments with moving machinery, high noise levels, and occasional outdoor conditions.
