Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

We are working with a private equity backed, multi-site organization looking to hire a Manager, FP&A. The position is newly created to help guide the operational and strategic direction of the company including budget, forecast, and KPI development. The position is an individual contributor Manager role.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly financial reviews to analyze and report outcomes comprehensively.
• Lead financial modeling and analysis to support the development of long-term strategic initiatives and business plans.
• Create tools to extract actionable insights from the company’s ERP system, enabling data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with various departments to identify and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Provide constructive feedback to team members and leadership to drive operational improvements.
• Conduct analyses and develop financial models for acquisitions, including strategic planning and guidance.
• Work closely with operations teams to understand market dynamics and identify growth opportunities.

Requirements & Experience

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., accounting, finance, mathematics, information technology, statistics) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
• Recent experience in scaling a finance operation.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
• Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.
• Capacity to work remotely with minimal supervision, efficiently managing tasks and time.

Preferred

• Familiarity with PowerBI or similar data visualization tools.
