Job Description
HireNow Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to oversee the ICU, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry units in Sanford, NC. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for organizing, directing, and supervising unit functions to ensure optimal patient care and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain safe staffing levels.
- Oversee supply and equipment levels.
- Manage efficient patient throughput.
- Engage in continuous quality and performance improvement.
- Ensure staff complete annual competencies.
- Maintain professional growth in nursing leadership and licensure.
- Communicate effectively with the Unit Director and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
- Staff development and training.
- Promote evidence-based clinical practices.
- Manage personnel resources and productivity.
- Enhance patient quality, safety, and performance improvement.
- Ensure regulatory compliance.
Requirements
Must-Haves:
- Associates degree in Nursing.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
Nice-To-Haves:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Previous managerial experience in a healthcare setting.
- Recent bedside patient care experience.
