Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Manager to oversee the ICU, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry units at our Sanford, NC location. This is a leadership position responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care and managing nursing staff effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the ICU, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry units.
- Supervise nursing staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and efficient care.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional policies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff to support their professional development.
- Ensure that the units meet or exceed performance benchmarks and patient satisfaction scores.
Must-Haves:
- Associate’s degree in nursing is required.
- RN licensure in North Carolina is required.
- American Heart Association BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Previous managerial experience in a healthcare setting
- Recent bedside patient care experience
Nice-To-Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
