Job Description
- Design, implement, and manage compensation policies and programs that support and align with business goals.
- Conduct compensation benchmark surveys and market research to ensure competitiveness in the marketplace.
- Develop and maintain salary structures, job grading, and pay scales.
- Evaluate job classifications to ensure internal equity and consistency across roles.
- Review and manage variable pay programs that drive corporate and individual performance and rewards.
- Provide consultative support to management, HR Business Partners, and Recruiting on compensation-related matters, including job evaluations, salary adjustments, promotions, and employment offers.
- Support the communication and administration of the company’s annual merit planning process and other enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Collaborate with HRIS staff to provide employees with a clear understanding of their Total Rewards package and the value of their employment.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
Job Skills Required
- Experience with executive compensation and incentive programs.
- In-depth knowledge of compensation and Total Rewards programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience in a similar industry or corporate environment.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in compensation management, including the analysis, design, and/or administration of compensation programs.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation or similar compensation professional certification.
