We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Cellulose Insulation Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the installation of cellulose insulation in residential, commercial, and industrial settings to improve energy efficiency and comfort. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Insulation Installation: Safely and efficiently install cellulose insulation in attics, walls, floors, and other spaces according to project specifications and industry standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain blowers, hoses, and other equipment used for insulation application.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by sealing gaps, clearing debris, and setting up materials to ensure an effective and clean installation.
- Material Handling: Measure and cut materials accurately to fit spaces while minimizing waste.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of insulation materials.
- Quality Control: Inspect completed work to ensure insulation meets project specifications and achieves desired thermal performance.
- Customer Interaction: Provide friendly, professional communication with clients regarding the scope of work, answering questions, and addressing concerns as needed.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including work orders and material usage reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in insulation installation or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment.
- Basic understanding of insulation materials and energy efficiency principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in confined spaces, attics, and crawl spaces.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
- Certifications: OSHA certification or similar safety training is a plus.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
