Job Description
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and Project Engineer to plan, organize, and direct the construction project according to schedule, specifications, and budget.
- Oversee construction activities on-site, ensuring that general contractors and subcontractors maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Develop daily Hazardous Work Permits (HWP's) and conduct safety briefings with the site team.
- Review and approve contractor Job Safety Analysis (JHA's) on a daily basis.
- Ensure compliance with all contract documents, engineering practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process.
- Maintain up-to-date construction documentation, including statements of work (SOW) and related materials.
- Monitor and procure necessary equipment and materials, ensuring timely availability to meet project deadlines.
- Plan and schedule all construction operations, ensuring all phases are completed on time.
- Identify, mitigate, and track construction issues, responding to delays or emergencies efficiently.
- Conduct Pre-Start-up inspections and maintain pre-start-up checklists.
- Report progress to management and address any concerns promptly.
