Qualifications
The preferred candidate will have a California PLS, plus 10 years of office mapping experience on private land development projects and public works projects.
Candidate must have thorough knowledge of California Subdivision Map Act, Professional Surveyors Act, local Civil Codes, Leadership skills, and excellent communication skills.
Candidate should have experience in the following :
Preparing CAD drawings of boundary surveys, Topographic Maps, ALTA / NSPS Land Title Surveys, As-built surveys, subdivision maps and other survey drawings as well as experience processing with City and County agencies. Additional skills necessary for this position are :
- Project Management
- Business Development
- Proposal Writing and Estimating
- Ensure project goals are met on time
- Provide direction, support, and mentorship to lower-level staff members
- Time management / Schedule oversight
