A leading semi-custom residential construction company specializing in single-family homes is looking for a dynamic leader to join as Divisional President.
Position Overview: The Division President will oversee all aspects of the residential construction division, ensuring the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in residential construction, great local market knowledge, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for building homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the division’s operations, including project planning, budgeting, and execution.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals and drive growth.
- Oversee construction management teams to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in residential construction, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role (Director of Construction or equivalent).
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple residential projects.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to hire, develop and retain Builders / Superintendents.
- Knowledge of local trade suppliers and relationships.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
