Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer (Echocardiographer/Echosonographer- II)
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19104
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks (possible extension)
Hours Guaranteed: 40 hours per week
Weekly Pay: $3,000.36 - $3200.64
Job Summary:
The Echosonographer II-SATS is responsible for performing advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures, including transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress echocardiograms, and assisting with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE). This role also involves preparing preliminary interpretation reports, managing billing procedures, and supporting satellite site coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms following lab standards and daily volume expectations.
- Respond promptly to emergent exams and maintain patient safety and comfort.
- Participate in staff meetings, research studies, quality assurance activities, and departmental initiatives.
- Assist in the education and training of students, fellows, and new technicians.
Education and Certification:
- Required: High School Diploma or GED.
- Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years in pediatric echocardiography.
- ARDMS or RCS or CCI or RCCS Required.
