Job Title : Echosonographer II
Location : 3401 Civic Center Blvd, Main Hospital, Philadelphia, PA 19104
Duration : 3 Months (High Possibility of Extension)
Education : High School Diploma / GED
Shift Details : Monday – Friday 8x5
Duties :
Performing various modalities of cardiac ultrasound including, stress echo, and assistance in transesophageal echo.
Advanced knowledge of pediatric echo and a higher level of ability, performance and competencies.
Perform echocardiograms in accordance with lab standards while meeting daily volume expectations.
Advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology and pathology and transthoracic echocardiography.
Advanced proficiency in operation of ultrasound equipment and digital reporting software.
Required Experience :
Two (2) years of pediatric echocardiography experience.
License(s) / Certification(s) / Registration(s) Required :
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer in Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE)
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE)
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) through the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
