QUALIFICATIONS :
- Technical understanding of products and best practices for the integration of complex Audio / Video / Computer Systems for permanent installations in both new and existing construction projects.
- Willing to work in DC daily Lorton VA daily or travel as needed for remote sites
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to Project Team and Clients
- Ability to read and interpret Construction Drawings to include electrical and low voltage schedules and diagrams.
- A good understanding of best practices for fiber installation network connectivity and electrical loads and installation practices.
- Ability to coordinate multiple team members in a high paced environment.
- Working knowledge of basic IT principles and protocols
- Working knowledge of basic PC hardware and operating systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Project Outlook and related software applications typical in the AV industry. Proficient with Bluebeam or Adobe Pro for reviewing documents.
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certification (can be completed after hire)
- Must be willing and able to guide and teach junior team members.
- Ability to maintain records and drawings for AsBuilt Documentation
- Selfmanage time and deadlines for multiple projects of various sizes.
- Familiarity with industry manufacturers dealer relationships and pricing.
- Ability to estimate and value engineer systems as needed in tandem with the system engineer.
- An understanding of software production would be considered a plus.
Requirements
Preferred
Requirements : University graduate or equivalent experience with further studies in AV installation, data or voice communications, or drafting. Minimum of 4 years\' experience in an electrical and / or communications environment. Understanding of project management practices and customer service obligations. Knowledge of electrical, electronic, communications, and computer products and equipment. Proficiency in oral and written English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Familiarity with building construction and blueprint reading. Experience with the AV Commercial Integrator Navigate system, specifically for change orders and delay notices feedback to the Project Manager. CTS-I Certification Preferred
Education
