We're looking for an experienced Distribution Operations Coordinator to take the lead in crafting and coordinating switching procedures for our electric distribution system. If you're passionate about ensuring safe and efficient operations and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do : ✅ Develop detailed switching procedures to ensure smooth operations across our vast electric distribution system
Collaborate with the control center to schedule and execute critical switching plans
Partner with engineers and peers to review, refine, and approve procedures
Provide real-time support and troubleshooting during switching operations to keep everything running smoothly
What You Bring : 🔧 5 years of experience in the electric utility industry (lineman or troubleman background is a big plus!)
Proven ability to read and interpret distribution system maps and diagrams
Strong coordination and scheduling skills to manage multiple complex switching plans
A team player, with the ability to work closely with control centers, engineers, and operations teams
Proficiency in NMS or Oracle NMS utility software
Bonus Points :
Experience writing and executing switching procedures
Strong background in electrical system operations and troubleshooting
