Job Title: Procurement/Sourcing/Supply Chain Specialist
Job Location: Fully Remote
Job Duration: 18 months contract on W2
Job Summary
The Operations Procurement team within the Core Data Center Supply Chain ensures data center availability by delivering critical equipment maintenance, services and lifecycle management for operational data centers.
The Procurement Specialist will help achieve these goals by managing critical processes including supplier onboarding, change orders, and rate card maintenance.
Job Responsibilities
Years of experience required: They are seeking approximately 10+ years of experience in Procurement.
They need to have significant experience with the sourcing process, how it works, and the RFP process. Must be detailed-oriented
Degrees or certifications required: No but it's preferred. Experience can be replaced in lieu of a degree.
Disqualifiers: They don’t have procurement or sourcing experience within the last 3-4 years. Must have recent sourcing/procurement experience.
Must be able to support EST, CST, & PST Time zones.
Best vs. average: The best candidate can take the next step when it's available without prompting or guidance.
Once they understand the systems, they know how to action & take ownership of items in the process.

- Tactical support of RFx events, including:
- Ariba tool setup and management
- supplier technical support
- document management
- RFx event monitoring, ensuring timelines and deliverables are supported
- Scheduling and day-to-day communications with both internal and supplier partners
- Initial pricing and financial analyses and consolidation for Category Manager review
- Project reporting and data entry, as required
- Contract administration including drafting, routing, and storage process
- Document management support
- Consolidation, reporting, and project management of tactical procurement efforts
- Managing Supplier onboarding efforts, as required
- Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Understanding of procurement and sourcing techniques and supply chain management
- Experience in procurement or purchasing
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field
- 7+ years experience in RFx and sourcing events
