Job Title: Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis
Location: Abbott Park, IL 60064
Duration: 03 months contract on W2
Shift: 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM
Pay Rate: $66/hr on W2.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities:
Lead financial accounting and reporting for the Corporate Benefits and Corporate Insurance organizations in client Corporate Finance. Manager-level position to cover a manager on medical leave. Technical - learn activities such as closing, planning, analytical, and accounting. The candidate will be managing sensitive information in a Corporate Benefits department.
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting and/or Finance. CPA preferred.
Experience:
7 years of work experience in accounting function.
General knowledge and understanding of accounting and GAAP.
Knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices used in financial record keeping and reporting.
Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
Demonstrated experience performing analytical, research, and problem-solving responsibilities.
Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a supportive, diverse team environment.
Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.
Skills:
Understanding accounting activities - bookkeeping, being able to prepare and analyze financial statements around the corporate benefits area, strong technical skills, and ability to adapt to the organization.
Location:
100% onsite at Abbott Park.
Interview:
Conducted via Teams (1 or 2 rounds).
Salary : $65 - $66
