Job Description :
The Product Manager partners with the Product Director to create, maintains, and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for their product area(s). The Product Manager leads on enterprise-level scoping, enhancements, and innovations to the Client Companies. The Product Manager would be managing the scope of site enhancement requests / new feature builds, In-Store Loyalty Integration that captures Loyal customer purchase behavior, understanding business requirements and needs, and ensuring the operational integrity of the architecture. The Product Manager leverages their project management skills to perform the day-to-day management of projects / tasks / resources but goes beyond this remit to work across the business to produce the final deliverable on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities :
- Ideate, build, and implement great digital products and experiences that deliver business value and improved consumer experiences
- Create and communicate product strategy across organizations and teams to influence stakeholders to align with the objectives
- Break down a backlog of strategic initiatives into actionable stories for the product team, regularly refining to clearly understand requirements and dependencies and document any risks and assumptions
- Manage expectations within the confines of the Story and Feature, being committed to – defining internal and external requirements, demoing with all partners and stakeholders, and ensuring communication is open and transparent.
- Understand the potential impact on the timescale and escalating issues / concerns immediately to avert projects running over time / budget
- Ensure continuous delivery, working with release managers and DevOps leads
- Accountable for the continued operational integrity of the product, decisions made throughout the development lifecycle, including triage of production incidents
- Act as a quality gatekeeper for all team deliverables – ensure that standards are met and ensure that Stories meet the Acceptance Criteria
- Develop strong relationships with the product director, store teams, and business owners to ensure that potential opportunities are identified and shared promptly
- Maintain and prioritize the team backlog, inclusive controlling technical debt
- Attend actively engage in daily standups and all ceremonies of the product team
- Regularly and systematically use data to uncover opportunities, track product performance, and drive decision making
